Heavy wall mechanical seating tubing pump description:
For heavy wall tubing pump, the barrel is put in the well to the designed depth with tubing. And then put the plunger into the barrel with sucker rod. Given the tubing size, the bore of the tubing pump is larger than that of the rod pump, so the pump rate is higher.
According to seating mode, the rod pump can be divided into three types: THC pump (Stationary Heavy Wall, Cup Seating, Tubing pump), THM pump (Stationary Heavy Wall Mech. Seating, Tubing Pump) and THD pump.
Operating principle of tubing pumps:The pump barrel assembly directly fixed on a tubing string. the plunger assembly connected on the sucker rod string ,and with the up and down reciprocating motion, so as to realize the production process. Its advantage lies in: in the process of oil production, when the traveling valve and fixed valve side problems arise,valve side can be proposed by the sucker rod, piston and extractor , don’t put the whole pump and tubing string out of the well, reduce the work intensity and the operation cost.
