API 11AX Heavy-Walled Barrel Pumps Parts Plunger Size Sucker Rod Insert Pump
Wide range of plunger size sucker rod insert pump description:
The API standard plunger (or pump hole) has a wide range of sizes. Currently available sizes range from 1 1/16 to 3/4 inches. In addition, a new type of pump cylinder is indicated in the latest API 11AX standard. This is an X-barrel. It has a thin-walled pump barrel configuration with threads at both ends of a thick-walled barrel, which is suitable only for metal plungers. The pump barrel no longer needs to be equipped with the extension couplings normally required for thick-walled barrel pumps. As a result, the pump barrel reduces the possibility of thin-walled expansion couplings bursting or collapsing while supporting deeper production depths.
The sucker rod insert pump plunger is directly connected to the sucker rod string and can be moved in and out of the tubing along with the pump barrel, eliminating the need to pull out the tubing string and reducing maintenance and downtime.
