Oil Gas Production Christmas Trees
The wellhead and Christmas tree are essential equipment in oil and gas exploration. They consist of three main components: the casing head, tubing head, and oil (gas) tree. These components are used to connect the casing string, tubing string, and sealing layers, as well as control the pressure and regulate the flow at the wellhead.
The wellhead and Christmas tree can be designed in either a general or integral structure, depending on specific requirements. They can also be equipped with pneumatic or hydraulic safety valves to ensure safety measures are in place.
Additionally, they can be classified into two types: single-wing and dual-wing configurations. Furthermore, depending on operational needs, the wellhead and Christmas tree can be equipped with either a positive choke or an adjustable choke.
These equipment have versatile applications, including acid fracturing, water injection, testing, and other special operations. They are designed to meet the diverse requirements of oil and gas production.
